Doctors Certified in Headache Medicine
To assist migraine sufferers and their families, the Migraine Research Foundation has updated its list of doctors who have been certified in Headache Medicine to now include patient age information. Our list is organized by city and state and includes phone numbers so you can find a doctor and make an appointment.
The United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS), an independent, non-profit, professional medical organization, administers the certification test. The primary mission of UCNS is to accredit training programs in neurologic sub-specialties (including headache medicine) and to certify competence in physicians who have passed a special examination in the sub-specialty.
The Migraine Research Foundation applauds the work of UCNS to enhance the quality of headache training that benefits both doctors and patients. For more information on UCNS visit www.ucns.org.
