DOCTORS CERTIFIED IN HEADACHE MEDICINE Click here for a list of doctors certified in Headache Medicine To assist Migraine sufferers and their families, the Migraine Research Foundation is providing a list of doctors who have been certified in Headache Medicine by The United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). UCNS completed its second certification of doctors in the subspecialty of Headache Medicine in 2007. An independent, non-profit, professional medical organization, UCNS is sponsored by five parent organizations: the American Academy of Neurology, American Neurological Association, Association of University Professors of Neurology, Child Neurology Society, and Professors of Child Neurology. The primary mission of UCNS is to accredit training programs in neurologic subspecialties and to certify competence in physicians who have completed an accredited training program. The Migraine Research Foundation applauds the work of UCNS to enhance the quality of headache training that benefits both doctors and patients. For more information on UCNS visit www.ucns.org.
